Students At Work

Here are some photos of my 3rd Period B-Day Art Class.  They are currently working on Landscape Drawings in Soft Pastels.  It is a dusty, messy project, but well worth the results.  We will post photos of their completed work soon!

Art I and II was assigned a new sketchbook assignment.  They will be interpreting the poem by Edgar Allen Poe entitled: Annabel Lee.  Hopefully, we can post some of their interpretations too!

Another Week

Last week the Art I students worked on Object Studies in pencil.  This week they are working on Still Life Studies, but they are not drawing they are piecing together the still life in the form of a collage.  I am already impressed with the way they are working and can't wait to show off the final product.  This project will take 2 weeks, so it might be a while before you can see the outcome.

The last sketchbook assignment that Art I and Art II was assigned was titled: A House with a Story.
