March-In Like a Lion and Out Like I a Lamb-We Pray!!!

March has proven to be quite a challenging month in the Piedmont-Triad Community.  We had two ice storms within two weeks time and the first one created so much havoc in our community.  Power outages, lines down everywhere, trees down and obstructed roads.  It was a mess.  We are hoping that March slides on out of here in a nicer way than it came in.

In the art room, we have been busy.  Art II is currently working on portraits.  They have about 2 more class periods to finish.  I will post some photos when they complete the project.

Art I completed flower paintings and a mixed media architectural project.

For the architectural mixed media projects the students had to work 100% from their imagination.  They were allowed to use a mixture of media to execute their ideas.
